Five questions to cultivate business gratitude

Updated: Feb 25, 2021

With the lemons dealt to us in the COVID-19 pandemic, we have two choices for our attitudes: gratitude or negativity. Whichever attitude you choose will be obvious. You can't hide your gratitude or your negativity. You will wear it whether you want to or not.

As a customer, I am attracted to businesses where gratefulness and positivity shine. I can't tell you the number of times this pandemic I've been near tears from positive experiences with businesses, and those are the businesses that have earned my loyalty. (Read my previous post on how gratitude can help your business.)

Want to grow your business by changing culture from one of despair to thankfulness?

Ask yourself these five questions to cultivate gratitude:

  • What have I learned about myself?

  • What have I learned about my employees?

  • What have I learned about my customers?

  • In what ways have we improved our products/services?

  • In what ways have we pivoted and succeeded?

As for me, I have a greater passion for my work than I've had in years. I've learned I can accomplish great things when I make small choices day by day. I've seen my clients make the world a better place. They have stories to tell that can make a life-changing impact, and I am thankful to be part of the process.

Even in the midst of uncertainty, let your light shine bright! The world needs it.
