Welcome! I’m Allison Sit, principal of Allison Sit PR.

I love to talk. Communicating has always been a strength of mine, and it's the passion to communicate what matters that drew me to journalism.

As a high school student, I watched live news coverage of the Northridge, California, earthquake. It stirred in me a desire to become a journalist. I graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and began my career as a television news reporter with two NBC affiliates. I received an Arkansas Associated Press Broadcasters Association award in 2003 for spot news coverage.

While I loved telling stories as a reporter, I’ve spent the last 15 years using those same skills and passions securing media placements for large and small organizations.

I've promoted medical breakthroughs, projects to aid the underserved, and facility expansions that mean a greater access to healthcare, to name a few. I believe in going beyond in my pitching. I tell not just the story, but why it matters.
